WHAT IS HYPERTENSION?

High blood pressure or Hypertension is said to be present in a person when the Blood Pressure is more than -140mmHg upper limit (Systolic) or 90mmHg lower limit (Diastolic) on at least 3 occasions, being measured after 5 mins of rest; or if a person is already on medicines for high blood pressure.
